On November 17th, 2018, the Cerritos Veda Circle convened at the home of one of its members to recite the Vishnu Sahasranamam. This monthly tradition has been ongoing since circa 2000. In previous iterations the group would chant alongside MS Subbalakshmi's performance of the stotram; this practice has been dropped since circa 2012. The circle performs with, not confidence, but earnestness. This particular performance was recorded on an iPhone 6S and then provided to Sadhu Santa for further editing.

Sadhu Santa's desire is not for a sacrilegious act. The motivation is for something extra-religious or sub-religious - or not. The reference is "scum". The image is "outside-ness". The avenue is "inside-ness". The medium is sound. But, it is also not "scum". A prayer without a receiver.
